The Meli Derenalagi-captained Swire Shipping Fijian Drua is determined to defend their home ground against Moana Pasifika in today’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific clash at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.
This is their must-win clash if they are to qualify for the playoffs. Derenalagi kept reminding this to the players during their Captain’s run at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park yesterday.
The Match 23 squad went through their training drills, kept polishing the set pieces and other facets of their game.
“We know that we will have to work hard to stand our ground and protect our reputation,” Derenalagi said.
“As per our preparation, we are working very hard for the target is to be in the top eight.
