Veteran Queensland Reds key playmaker, James O’Connor, says they have a lot of respect for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua and what they can do on their home ground. O’ Connor, who is named to start at No.10, arrived at the Nadi International Airport yesterday indicating that it was his first time in Fiji.

“It is different from home. Obviously a tough ask and what they (Drua) did to the Crusaders, it was a close game,” O’Connor said.

“We have played them (Drua) earlier in the season. It was a close game. Now, we both need a win (to qualify for the Shop N Save Super Rugby playoffs).

“We are treating this game as a final. I’ve watched the Drua’s home games with the wild crowd and it will be big.”

Also with the squad are Suliasi Vunivalu, Seru Uru, Filipo Daugunu and Peni Ravai. Vunivalu told SUNsports that he was ready to play in front of his family and friends.

“It feels special; the first time playing in front of my family, especially in Suva,” he said.
