More Australians Expected At Show
Fashion and tourism go hand in hand, Fiji Fashion Week managing director Ellen Whippy-Knight said.
“You can’t do fashion without tourism,” she said at the launch of the 2023 Fiji Fashion Week in Suva.
“The fashion people, they come in, do their job, and within 24 hours, return to their countries.
“Quite often, they come back, bringing their families later for a holiday.”
Tourism Fiji is this year’s sponsor for the Fiji Fashion Week.
Vodafone Fiji is also a sponsor of the event and is expected to sponsor the next two fashion events.
More Australians are expected to attend the event this weekend.
Fiji Fashion Week 2023 shows begin at the Vodafone Arena, before the weeklong event concludes with the second line up of designer showcases.
