Rotuisolia’s Family Braves Weather, Travels From Australia

Ro Jone Roseru braved the rain weather last Saturday to watch son Leone Rotuisolia and the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua take on the Reds at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
Roseru and his family travelled from Cairns in Queensland, Australia to watch their son play his last game in Fiji for this season.
“I’m here to watch my son Leone, especially the Drua team making it in the quarterfinals,” he said.
Roseru said their family was proud of Rotuisolia’s progress in his rugby career playing for the Fijian Drua and the Fiji Water Flying Fijians.
“I’ve seen the investment we’ve put in him and last year we watched all his games in Suva.”
“I was here for the game against the Blues and Hurricanes as money is nothing, as for me family goes first,” he said.
Roseru said they played the role of 16th man on the ground and believed the boys executed the game plan given by their coach Mick Byrne.
“The weather is not a concern for us whether it be a hurricane, a tornado even tsunami we’ll be here,” he added.
Roseru had predicted a Fijian Drua bonus point win against Queensland Reds at last Saturdays Super Rugby match.
“I hope he gets called up again for the Flying Fijians as he was injured for the past three games for Fijian Drua, but he recovered and played in the game against Moana Pasifika.”
Roseru converses with his son (Rotuisolia) every afternoon and usually advise him to be positive and work towards his goals.
“Hopefully he makes it to the Rugby World Cup Squad and I’ll be in France too.”
“Just go out there and put your best effort in the field not for the family, for the nation and the Drua,” he said.
“The whole crowd gets in and support the Drua as the weather doesn’t affect anything, just come and support the team.”
“Win or lose, we’ll support them all the way,” he added.
