Blues Break 21- year Drought

Hyperchem Pharmacy Lautoka emerged victorious in the Digicel Fiji FACT championship at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, breaking a 21- year spell.
Led by captain Zibraaz Sahib, Lautoka secured a thrilling 2-1 victory in extra time, putting an end to AK Plumbing/ Glamada Rewa’s unbeaten run.
The last time Lautoka clinched the title was in 2002 making this triumph even more remarkable.
In the decisive moment Lautoka’s towering striker, Saula Waqa , rose above the Rewa defenders to head in the winning goal. He dedicated the win to his grandmother Sereana Waqanicakau and baby daughter, Katosa Vere Waqa.
