Bus Topples, Injured Students Rushed to Hospital

Injured Delana Primary School students were rushed to the Lautoka Aspen Hospital after the bus they were travelling in, toppled and landed on its side at Banaras, Lautoka on Wednesday.
The school bus was dropping off students residing in the area.
National Fire Authority (NFA) chief executive officer Puamau Sowane said his officers managed to retrieve students from the bus.
“The 28-year-old bus driver almost reached the top of the hill when he noticed that the bus was losing power,” he said.
