Set For World Cup Debut
Olympian and France based winger, Jiuta Naqoli Wainiqolo, is humbled to be part of the FIJI Water Flying Fijians squad building up to the Rugby World Cup (RWC) in France.
While this could be his first World Cup outing the 24-year-old Nayavuira, Nakorotubu, Ra native, who shares maternal links to Ekubu, Vatulele, Nadroga, is grateful to be included in the 39-member squad, which will be trimmed down to 33 after the July tests.
“I understand that this is God’s plan for my life. It is an honour to be chasing a spot against the handful of talented players and I am blessed,” Wainiqolo said.
