Businesses will have to beef up contingencies for the onslaught of El Nino, which weather pundits warn could adversely impact the country for the second half of the year.
Like termite infestation, insurance companies say there is no cover for such weather phenomena. But they’ll insure against natural disasters like cyclones, and fire.
In any case, every business should have a plan B, said business consultant and economist, Nouzab Fareed.
“Businesses have mitigating measures that they each prepare for,” he said.
