FNPF For PALM Workers

Parliament, on Friday, passed the Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) budget amend­ment Bill 2023.

Parliament, on Friday, passed the Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) budget amend­ment Bill 2023.

This would mean that Fijians who work under the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Scheme and other workers can access the FNPF service from offshore.

It will allow FNPF to expand its membership by setting up a fund overseas.

Minister for Finance Biman Pras­ad, while tabling the amendment bill on Friday in Parliament, said this would help Fijians overseas.
