Semi Radradra: Bring It On

FIJI Water Flying Fijians captain Semi Radradra is anticipating good performance against Manu Samoa in their Punjas Pacific Battle at the Apia Stadium tomorrow.
Radradra partners rookie Fijian Drua’s Iosefo Masi at centre.
The former Bristol Bears secondfive eighth said it was an honour and privilege to lead the national team.
“I always believed in Masi especially in the sevens (rugby) team,” Radradra said.
“It’s not new to me as we have been playing together in sevens. It’s a dream for me as well to play with one of my kinsman (kai), I am really looking forward to the challenges.
“Really looking forward to a good squad, as there are young boys and a few new ones.
“We have to be in the group system so everyone has a chance to prove themselves. You know, we’re not new in the rugby field, have some new faces, but for us it’s rugby. They will do the job.”
He added that playing Samoa on their home ground would not be easy.
“Playing the Pacific Islanders team, the brothers, you know it’s always tough. It’s not going to be easy, but we have prepared well. We look forward to the game.”
