Albert Tuisue Tells Of 2019 Pain

Albert Tuisue, the tough second rower, opened up about his unexpected removal from the Flying Fijians squad for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
Reflecting on that emotional period, Tuisue expressed that being dropped from the camp was difficult because he believed he had given his best effort.
“It was an emotional time for me when I was dropped out of camp,”
Tuisue told SUNsports yesterday after their training session at the Nadi International School ground.
“That’s because I knew that I had done my best.”
Despite performing exceptionally well in all the build-up matches, Tuisue failed to secure a spot in then-head coach John McKee’s final squad.
The disappointment served as a powerful motivation for him to work even harder and earn a place in the FIJI Water Flying Fijians squad for the upcoming Rugby World Cup in France.
“This World Cup, I am really looking forward to it,” he added.
He highlighted the special bonding session that took place between Europe-based players and the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua players, which has fostered a positive team dynamic.
