It’s Savusavu for Alena Compain

Alena Compain is passionate about customer service, which is why she has spent her entire career to date in the hospitality industry.
In her current role as the Supervisor of the Pizza King and Wishbone Restaurant on Brown Street in Suva, Ms Compain oversees the daily operation of the restaurant, ensuring it is running smoothly and her customers’ needs are met.
Early in her career, Ms Compain worked as a barmaid and waitress in some of Suva’s most recognisable establishments such as Bad Dog Café, O’Reilly’s Bar, and the defunct Leonardo’s restaurant.
The 51-year-old from Narocivo, Nayau in Lau also helps run her family dairy farm, Compain Estate, on Bau Road in Nausori.
The farm supplies fresh milk every day to Rewa Dairy, and to make other products that Ms Compain’s family enjoys at home, such as cheese with ginger and goat’s milk soap.
