Kade Village School manager Jone Tawake is grateful to the European Union, Vai Wai, Latter-Day Saints charity, Rotary Pacific Water for Life Foundation and Government for helping members of his community have access to clean water and sanitation.

This joint effort now sees villagers of Kade access piped water for their drinking and sanitation needs.

The source is directly from a new dam.

During the Dialogue on Climate Change and Water Security at Holiday Inn Suva on Friday, Mr Tawake said that prior to the construction of the dam, villagers resorted to the use of a spring water to meet their drinking and sanitation needs.
