Let’s Go Local: Cancer Survivor Thrives in Business World

The local business community is a diverse, growing group of entrepreneurs who are helping to rebuild the economy. Cynthia A Cebujano is one of these promising business owners dedicated to supporting women in Fiji through purposeful products and services.
Originally from Manila in the Philippines, Ms Cebujano has called Fiji home for the past 18 years.
She is not only the founder and owner of two thriving small businesses, but also a cervical cancer survivor since 2019.
“I had cervical cancer and I was pregnant. I wanted to be productive while bedridden,” she said.
“So I started a digital business, 8finity Advertising where I do social media marketing, graphic design, and website design.”
Two years into this business, the 40-year-old mum of two launched a clothing line with a unique purpose.

What Are Your Favourite Travel Destinations In Fiji?
Tivua Island.
It was wonderful. The white sandy beaches. We rode the sailing boat and had lunch, coffee, morning tea, and afternoon tea.
But the best experience for me was staying at Wakaya Club and Spa.
I enjoyed a VIP experience on Wakaya Island and deer hunting.
Deer meat is the softest and tastiest meat I have ever tasted in my whole life.
Everything on Wakaya Island is fresh from farm to table.

What I love about Fiji is that the people here are very friendly.
With the current Government and the local business environment, immigrants and minorities like myself have the opportunity to thrive, be able to showcase our talent.
We’re also very welcomed here.
