President Katonivere Encourages Flying Fijians Not to Give Up
President Ratu Williame Katonivere told the Flying Fijians to hold their heads high after their narrow 32-26 loss to Wales in their Rugby World Cup Pool C opener.
The President paid a visit to the team’s dressing room to encourage the players of the task ahead.
“The team played a hard fought game and I’m proud of your performance,” Ratu Wiliame said.

“This is just the first game, do not give up, because Fiji still believes in you.”
The Prince of Wales, Prince William also visited the team’s dressing room and said the team had given the Welsh team a hard fought match. He also wished the Flying Fijians luck in their next game against Australia.
