Vision Energy, Fiji Ports to Develop Renewable Solar Project

Vision Investments Limited’s (VIL) energy division, Vision Energy Solutions, has secured another solar project with Fiji Ports Corporation Limited (FPCL).
This is Vision Energy Solutions fourth consecutive project with FPCL.
This rooftop solar project is to power the FPCL head office which has five levels in the building, which will cater to demand for the crucial IT department server room, finance office, receptions office, executive office and two lifts.
The project will have highly efficient solar panels and 24×7 remote monitoring optimiser together with a three-phase power grid-tie inverter installed.
The solar system is designed to withstand the toughest weather conditions near the port.
At the signing of the latest solar project with FPCL, VIL chief executive officer Sanjesh Prasad said the achievement marks another milestone in Vision Investments journey towards a more sustainable future.
This partnership will see clean and renewable energy towards FPCL’s operations.
Mr Prasad added that this collaboration represented a shared commitment to environmental stewardship for a greener and sustainable tomorrow.
In a statement, VIL said the partnership perfectly was aligned with its mission to drive positive change through renewable energy as FPCL’s five-year strategic goal was to develop and operate sustainable ports with minimum impact to environment.
Vision Energy Division has installed more than 50 successful projects to reduce the devasting impacts of climate change in Fiji.
