It is expected to also consist of a 55 room RATSUN Apartment Hotel which would be overall complimented by a 136-space carpark.

Minister for Housing and Local Government Maciu Nalumisa said the launch of the Public-Private Partnership to Develop Old Market Sites yesterday represented a significant milestone in the development progress the Fiji Government has committed too.

“I would like to express my appreciation to our local partner, the Market Development (Nausori) Pte Limited that believed in our vision.

“Not to mention for holding onto it with patience and dedication, for working hand-in-hand to resolve all the complexities and hurdles and to successfully come this far,” Mr Nalumisa said.

“You have come out resilient despite many hurdles and shown that together we can achieve great things.”

Shop N Save Supermarket director Nisheel Deo Kisun said the public-private partnership marks the beginning of what they know would be a fruitful and mutually beneficial relationship between their companies and Nausori Town.
