Father-daughter Duo attend FNU Open Day

Natabua High School student Purvi Paida was grateful to be accompanied by her father, Jitesh Narottam Paida, to the 2023 Fiji National University (FNU) Open Day at Natabua Campus on October 6.
Although she was unable to tag along with her friends from her class as all the other students from the various schools did, Purvi had the greatest blessing when her father stepped in and agreed to accompany her to the Natabua Campus.
“I felt really good having my dad accompany me to Natabua Campus,” she said.
The 18-year-old (pictured right) is currently a Year 13 science student at the Lautoka school.
“When I first came, I visited the biology lab, and I got to see many things, such as embryology, fossil records, bacteria culture, and many things under the microscope.”
“The Physics Lab was really cool too, and I learned about the wave theory and how electrons are distributed.”
Paida said she plans to pursue her tertiary-level education in the medical field.
“FNU is a really good place to study; the environment is conducive to learning, and the staff and students here are really friendly,” she added.
