Soldiers Back Home From Sinai

The Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF), director Human Resource Management (DHRM) Colonel (Col) Jofiliti Gade Talemaibau welcomed the returning 62 members of Battalion (Batt) 41 who served under the Multinational Force and Observers (MFO), in the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt.
The troops served one year on the tour of duty. In his welcoming address, Col Talemaibau thanked the members of BATT 41 in accomplishing one year of tour of duty and acknowledged the sacrifices made during their tour.
“At the end of your one year of service, you faced many struggles and challenges that your work encompassed,” Col Talemaibau said.
“As well as the challenges faced being away from your families for a year. With these in mind, our leaders back home express their sincere gratitude for your service,” he said.
Col Talemaibau thanked their family members for their support and urged the troops to spend time with their families. he second chalk of Battalion 41 personnel will arrive in the country early next month.
