Nadi Alleged Knifing Incident Shocks Shop Owners
Police is investigating the alleged knifing incident of a shopkeeper at Nadi Town yesterday.
This was confirmed by the police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro.
The victim is the owner of the Fashion Planet.
An eyewitness said the victim was believed to be alone in the shop when the incident happened.
The next-door shopkeeper said they were shocked when the victim came running into their shop with blood all over his head.
He said that the victim told them that a man entered the shop with a knife and hit him on the head.
The shopkeeper was baffled at what had taken place inside the shop because the victim was alone inside.
When they went to check the shop there was no one there.
The victim was rushed to the hospital and
Police were on guard at the scene.
Investigation is ongoing.
