Vinit Nand is the new Datec (Fiji) Pte Limited chief executive officer, the company announced yesterday.

Mr Nand has over a decade of experience as a financial executive, having served as chief financial officer and board secretary at Datec.

“I am enthusiastic about driving Datec Fiji towards more innovative growth and continued success in the ICT sector,” said Mr Nand.

Outgoing CEO Satyen Singh has moved to fill the chief executive officer role at Papua New Guinea-based software company Digitec ICT Ltd.

“Mr Singh’s dedication and efforts have played a significant role in elevating the Datec business to new heights,” said Regional CEO of Vodafone Pradeep Lal.

As one of the largest tech providers in Fiji and the Pacific region, Datec (Fiji) Pte Limited specialises in the delivery of information and communications technology solutions to businesses in Fiji and Pacific region countries.

It is a subsidiary of Vodafone (Fiji) and part of the ATH Group of companies, which was listed on the South Pacific Stock Exchange on April 18, 2002.
