Dreams Become Real For Seru Uru

Namoli, Ba native and Australia A flanker Seru Uru’s dreams are becoming real.
The 25-year-old who shares maternal links to Naviyago dreamt of playing in an Australian representative side.
Now returning home after three years with the Australia A squad for the World Rugby Pacific Nations Cup seems unreal.
The former Ratu Kadavulevu School student is also looking forward to catching up with his family in Lautoka where the games will take place on July 9 and July 16.
“It is a dream come true to play in Australia and play for the Australia A team,” Uru said.
To be named in the Australia A is a step closer to donning the gold jersey.
“I have achieved my dream but this is not the end of it. There are some more things that I have to improve on and move forward regarding my rugby career,” he said.
“Coming back home after three years, is great. I am looking forward to meet my family.
“I am happy to represent Australia for the PNC but I will work hard to secure a spot in the Wallabies squad at next year’s World Cup.”
Australia A will take on Samoa at 1pm and Fiji and Tonga at 3:30pm at the HFC Bank Stadium tomorrow.
Meanwhile, tickets are available at the Fiji Sports Council office in Laucala Bay.
