FICAC appointment probe reaches ODPP

The Fiji Police Force has handed investigation files relating to Justice David Ashton-Lewis, Barbara Malimali and Chief Justice, Salesi Temo, to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPР).

ODPP last night confirmed: "All files are currently under review as per the ODPP standard practice. Police will be updated of any further action or if any charges need to be laid once the review is completed."

The files are linked to the Commission of Inquiry (Col) into the appointment of Barbara Malimali as Commissioner of the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC).
