Nasinu Town Council issues removal notices for derelict vehicles

Nasinu Town Council has issued removal notices for derelict vehicles abandoned along Vatoa Road and FNTC Road in Narere, warning owners to remove them immediately or face enforcement action.
The council said the abandoned vehicles pose serious health and safety risks, including mosquito breeding, obstruction to traffic and environmental hazards.

The council said derelict vehicles also block access for emergency services and pedestrians, become dumping grounds for rubbish and hazardous waste, and reduce the visual appeal and property values of the area.
Residents have been urged to take responsibility and help keep Narere clean, safe and accessible.
