Courts Fiji launched its 2026 Mother's Day promotion at its Rodwell Rd outlet in Suva this week, combining retail offers with a community health initiative.

General manager retail and marketing, Anil Senewiratne, said the campaign aimed to honour mothers while promoting community wellbeing through meaningful partnerships and activities across the country.

"This year's event is not only a celebration of our Mother's Day campaign but also highlights a meaningful collaboration focused on diabetes awareness and health initiatives," he said.

He said the promotion runs from April 2 to May 17, with simultaneous launches also held in Ba and Labasa to ensure nationwide customer participation.

"As we celebrate Mother's Day, we take a moment to honour the sacrifices of mothers and the love, strength and care they bring into our homes."

Mr Senewiratne said customers could choose from a wide range of products including furniture, home decor, appliances, wellness items and IT gadgets during the promotion period.

He said shoppers could also enjoy discounts, red pen deals and roadshows, while those spending $100 or more on selected Hisense products would enter weekly draws.

"There will be 30 winners over six weeks, giving customers a chance to win exciting Hisense products with total prizes worth more than $44,000."

Mr Senewiratne said Courts had partnered with Diabetes Fiji to host free wellness screening clinics at selected locations as part of the initiative.

"These clinics will provide blood sugar testing, lifestyle advice and important information to help individuals take better control of their health and wellbeing."

He said the initiative reflected the company's continued commitment to supporting the communities it serves while making celebrations more meaningful for Fijian families.
