Singh expects a tough contest against Singh but believes he is well prepared.

Nanovu and Khan will contest a six-round flyweight bout over three-minute rounds.

“His preparation has been excellent. He’s been training consistently every day and we’re now into the 11th week of camp,” Ranuku said.

“Ratu is young and fit, while Dauloloma has the advantage in height, reach and experience. It should be a very good contest,” Singh said.

Ravalaca also urged boxing fans to turn up in big numbers to support professional boxing in the country.

The boxers include captain Jone Davule, Aminiasi Saratibau, Ben Maukakala, Elijiah Qiokata and lone female Jasmine Daunakamakama.
