"I need to communicate more with other Drua players, so we can have better connection and properly work out our game plan," he said.

After winning the 2025/26 HSBC World Sevens Series title, South Africa is favourite to win the Hong Kong tournament.

The players are currently undertaking Chinese language training in a four-year programme that sees them graduate with a Bachelor of Education.

The Force has never won any of their Super Rugby game in the country.  

“He’s been our outstanding No.13, so he’ll come back in. The combination has worked well, so we’re hoping the partnership links up again.”

“It’s all about performance for us. The guys at the weekend did a good job. We’ve got to maintain that and continue to play that way,” he said.
