The Kinoya Sea Eagles put on another gallant performance at the Fiji National Rugby League's Eastern Zone competition where they beat Veiyasana Knights 26-10 in the third round of competition at Suva's Buckhurst Park, last Saturday.

Speaking to SUNsports, Sea Eagles head coach Inoke Vasuturaga said this is their second win in three matches, which reflected the players' commitment during training.

"Our main focus are discipline, commitment and team bonding," Vasuturaga said.

"Those were the key factors behind our win over Veiyasana Knights. We worked hard during training, and we're pleased to see the players produce the results on the field."

Despite the win, Vasuturaga said the team still have areas to work on.

"These are communication, defense, set completion and fitness," he said.

Vasuturaga said the team would review their performance and regroup ahead of round four set for Saturday.

"Our squad is made up of players aged between 18 and 26, and we're taking the competition one game at a time."

Vasuturaga said the team's main goal this season was to continue building unity, with hopes of reaching the quarterfinals or semi-finals.

"Our focus is on staying united and taking each game as it comes. If we keep improving, the results will follow."

He also thanked supporters and urged them to continue backing the team.
