The Fiji Sun, Fiji's biggest newspaper, has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and energetic person to join our Circulation Department be based at Nadi office. The Circulation Officer will be responsible for carrying out day to day circulation operations in the West area.
Responsibilities
- Daily cash collections and returns collection.
- Liaising with Agents and solving problems
- Assist with branding positioning at the Agents location and newspaper visibility.
- Assist Team Leader in retrieval of information on Agents
- Subscription Acquisition & Retention
- Drive campaigns to secure new home and corporate subscriptions.
- Monitor supply levels at retail outlets, service stations, and newsstands to minimize unsold copies.
- Follow up on renewals and implement retention strategies for expiring accounts.
- Identify new target markets, institutional clients (schools, hotels, offices), and high-growth areas.
- Execute ground-level promotional activities, trade fairs, and events to boost brand visibility.
- Address subscriber complaints regarding delivery delays, missing copies, or billing issues.
- Ability to travel to other parts of the Western region (Sigatoka, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua, Rakiraki)
Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting
- Minimum of 2 years experiences in marketing or sales.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written.
- A knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Bizzxe would be an advantage.
- A clean valid group 2 driving license.
