Heavy Goods Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive heavy goods vehicles for the transportation of milk, feed, livestock, equipment, and other goods as required.
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of products and supplies.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure vehicles are operated in accordance with road safety regulations.
• Complete delivery documentation and maintain accurate transport records.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.
• Comply with all company policies and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain driving record.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid Group 6 Driving Licence.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience operating heavy goods vehicles.
• Good knowledge of Fiji roads and traffic regulations.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Physically fit and capable of handling loading and unloading activities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a Defensive Driving Certificate.
• Maintain accurate records of goods.
