LTA moves payments online during M-PAiSA upgrade

The Land Transport Authority has advised customers that Vodafone’s M-PAiSA payment service is temporarily unavailable as it undergoes a system integration upgrade.
In a statement, the Authority said the disruption is part of efforts to modernise its digital services and improve payment efficiency.
Customers are being urged to use alternative payment options that remain fully operational, including the LTA E-Services platform and the MyCash mobile application.

The online platform allows users to complete a range of transactions without visiting an office, while MyCash offers a mobile-based payment option.
The upgrade is expected to enhance system performance, improve transaction processing times and align with the Authority’s broader digitisation plans.
LTA acknowledged the temporary inconvenience for customers who rely on M-PAiSA and said efforts were under way to restore the service as soon as possible.
