Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka says he will appeal the part of the High Court judgment concerning his name and actions in the Commission of Inquiry (CoI) report into former FICAC Commissioner Barbara Malimali.
Speaking to the media this afternoon, Mr Rabuka said he would not challenge the entire report and would rely on his lawyers to determine the grounds for the appeal.
The decision follows the High Court’s recent ruling declaring the CoI report “null and void” after legal challenges were brought against the inquiry and its findings.
