Rodu names 21-member squad for Thailand

Fiji men’s football coach Marika Rodu has named a strong 21-member squad to play in the 51st King’s Cup Challenge in Thailand next month.
The national team will face Thailand in their opening match. After his appointment Rodu has continued to build depth and experience in the squad.

He said the tournament would be an important stepping stone for the squad as they aim to strengthen their combination and test themselves against high-calibre opposition.

“This is a valuable opportunity for our boys to measure themselves against strong international opponents,” Rodu said.

“We’ve picked a balanced squad, and we are looking forward to the challenge.”

The players will feature in their respective Extra Premier League fixtures this weekend before they return to camp on Sunday. The team leaves for Thailand next week.
