Sukuna Bowl likely to feature only one sport

The 2026 Ratu Sukuna Bowl may feature only one sport this year, with the competition potentially reverting to its traditional format.
The Ratu Sukuna Bowl Committee is considering dropping the additional sports that have been included in recent years, such as football, netball, volleyball, boxing and touch rugby.
A representative of the host, the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF), said the final decision would be confirmed at today's Sukuna Bowl Committee meeting.

Meanwhile, the RFMF has begun its Sports Fundraising Drive to help its teams prepare for the annual competition.
As part of the fundraising drive, a brand-new Toyota Rush, valued at $60,000, is up for grabs with tickets selling at $10 each. The vehicle will be drawn on September 26.
