Radio and Music of India reported that Mr Tappoo was one of the biggest winners of the night, securing four prestigious CLEF Music Awards 2025 after being nominated in nine categories.

His wins came for his two albums titled ‘Dil Pareshan Karta Hai’ and ‘Legacy’, showcasing the awards’ international reach and recognition of quality music regardless of geographical boundaries.
His wins signaled the breadth of his artistry and the depth of his connection with audiences, the report said.
Few artists can manage such a sweep, and Mr Tappoo’s success firmly places him among the most celebrated voices in Indian music industry today. Mr Tappoo, meanwhile, credited his family, his team, and his spiritual master Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai for his success.
“To be honoured with four CLEF Awards is a blessing beyond measure,” he said.
“My sincere thanks to the organisers and judges, and all those who guided, inspired, and supported me. Above all, I dedicate these awards to my parents, my wife Krupali, and my daughters Saisha and Meera, whose sacrifices allow me to follow my calling, and to my divine master Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai.” The star-studded ceremony recognised stalwarts of the industry, making Mr Tappoo’s multiple victories memorable.
His triumphs spanned across categories that demand versatility. His acclaimed album Dil Pareshan Karta Hai, created in collaboration with the legendary Gulzar and Pandit Bhavdeep Jaipurwale, claimed the title of Best Album, cementing its place as one of the year’s defining works.
Mr Tappoo shared the honour of Best Devotional Artist with his mentor Anup Jalota, for the soulful song Hari from their joint new album Legacy. They further secured wins for Best Classical Artist with the song Chaturang and Best Sufi Artist with the song Meherbaniyan, both also from their Legacy album.
