The Marist Brothers High School Under-15 side is anticipating a tough clash against Ratu Kadavulevu School in Saturday’s final at the National Stadium in Suva.

Augustine Paul led his MBHS team to a 16-3 victory against Lelean Memorial School in the semi-final at Buckhurst Park, Suva, last Saturday.

Paul said the message from their head coach was to improve how they played and to avoid playing in their red zone.

“We will expect a tough team,” Paul said.

“RKS reached the quarterfinals last year and they will be hunting for that win this year.

“We are going to iron out our mistakes from the semi-finals and try and come back stronger.

“We will also need to improve on our exits.”

Last week’s win was dedicated to their parents and the Marist families.

Paul also acknowledged the support from old scholars, parents and the school, as they were the lone MBHS side to qualify for the semi-finals and now the final.

Meanwhile, RKS defeated Queen Victoria School 28-26 in the first semi-final.
