British reggae band UB40 is planning its second trip to Fiji, after officials confirmed 2026 as its next Fiji concert.

The show comes close to two decades since the band last performed its Who You’re Fighting For South Pacific tour.

King Charles Park, Nadi, has been book for the upcoming event, in what is expected to be another huge crowd pleaser for locals and

international music lovers.

The event is scheduled four months after the massive success of Homecoming Festival 2025.

Nadi Town Council chief executive officer Muni Reddy said the council would work closely with stakeholders such as Tourism

Fiji and Nadi Chamber of Commerce and Industry to make this event yet another success.

Another treat

Nadi Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Lawrence Kumar said businesses in Nadi were in for another treat, following the massive success of Homecoming Festival earlier this month.

“We just experienced great three days in the Homecoming concert; there are things to work together come 2026.”

He said the chamber had ample time to prepare to meet the demands that come with such global attractions.

Tourism Fiji acting chief executive officer Robert Thompson said authorities were aware of discussion on the topic.
