The Civil High Court in Suva has struck out an application by the lawyers of Christian Mission Fellowship International Minister's Pastor Manasa Kolivuso, seeking to include the Government and the Attorney-General in the Israel-Charter flight case.
The application was raised during the substantive hearing of a civil suit filed by Fiji Airways against charterer Michael Mausio, his companies WABS Pacific PTR Limited and Kane Holdings PTE Ltd, the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem trustees, and Kolivuso, for failing to pay $3.1 million owed for pilgrimages to Israel in 2023.
No representatives of Mausio or his companies were present during yesterday’s proceeding.

Kolivuso’s lawyer told the court that an application with supporting affidavits had been previously filed.
Acting Master Liyanage Wickramasekera, however, objected to the attempt to include the Government, stating that it was misconstrued.
Master Wickramasekera struck out the application and instructed the defendants to file a proper formal application if they wished to proceed.
The matter was adjourned to February 6 for mention.
