Over 190 Marijuana Plants Uprooted In Kadavu Following Information

More than a hundred and ninety green plants believed to be marijuana were uprooted from a farm in Vacalea Village, Kadavu over the weekend.

The raid was successfully conducted by the Drug Operations Team following information received.

Plants ranging from 0.20cm to 2.90m were uprooted and the owner of the farm is yet to be identified.

Meanwhile, three youths from this village were warned after threatening families who had assisted the officers.

Awareness created on drugs was also conducted for the villagers of Vacalea following a request from their village headman.
