A feeling of accomplishment hit Vulisere Bale Tuifagalele, who received her Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from the Fiji National University.

Standing among the proud graduates at the Vodafone Arena last week Ms Tuifagalele reminisced on how the journey was not an easy one.

She had to balance work, family responsibilities and studies to achieve her new qualification.

“It was very challenging because I had always been committed to work,” Ms Tuifagalele said.

Despite the many challenges, she never gave up with a strong will and determination helping her get through.

She said the support from her family and colleagues at the National Fire Authority played a big part in helping her succeed.

“I dedicate this to my family and my workmates who lifted me up when things got tough,” she said.

Now that she has completed her postgraduate diploma, Ms Tuifagalele is already planning her next step.

That is, to continue her studies and pursue a master’s degree in the near future.

Her story is a clear example of what hard work, support, and determination can achieve.

Ms Tuifagalele’s success is a reminder that even with a busy life, dreams are still possible.
