Graduate dedicates success to God, family

Elizabeth Victoria Samuela was filled with joy and pride yesterday as she walked across the stage to receive her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) during the University of the South Pacific (USP) graduation at the Vodafone Arena yesterday.
The moment was not only a personal triumph but also a celebration of perseverance and dedication for the mother of two.
“I dedicate this achievement to my late father,” Ms Samuela said.

Growing up in a large family, Mrs Samuela faced the challenges of balancing family responsibilities, work commitments, and the demanding nature of her studies.
Yet, despite the obstacles, she thanked her family for their love and encouragement, especially her mother, and the strength she drew from her faith.
“I couldn’t have done this without my family and the support of God,” she said.
“Their belief in me gave me the strength to carry on when things felt overwhelming.”
Reflecting on her experiences, she added, “No matter the challenges in life, the path to achieving your dreams is always worth taking. It’s not just about the destination, but the growth and lessons learned along the way.”
Ms Samuela’s advice to aspiring graduates is to: “Follow your dreams and continue to excel.”
