PSC ends Navakamocea’s appointment as iTaukei Affairs PS

The Public Service Commission, with the agreement of the Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka, has ceased the appointment of Jone Navakamocea as permanent secretary for iTaukei Affairs.  

This follows critical comments posted on Facebook by Mr Navakamocea raising allegations against his line minister, Ifereimi Vasu.  

Mr Navakamocea's contract of service ends tomorrow. 

Meanwhile, Mr Vasu says Police are still investigating the complaint he had lodged on the online commentary posted by Mr Navakamocea.
