One staff member, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said:
“There are two female washrooms and one male washroom, all connected.
“I went into the first washroom, and someone tried to force the door open. I called out to let them know I was inside.
“When I came out, I was shocked to see him standing in the second washroom.
“He tried to grab my hands, but I resisted. A male colleague nearby heard me, shouted out, and my manager let go.”
A second staff member reported a similar incident on the same day.
A third employee claimed the manager later followed her to a bulk room upstairs, where he allegedly attempted to harass her.
All three women said they were fearful and confused about the manager’s behaviour.
“We don’t know why he is doing this. Is it because he is our boss and thinks he can do whatever he wants?” one of the women said.
They have not formally reported the alleged incidents to management or police, citing concerns over potential job loss.
The Fiji Sun has contacted Police for comment on the allegations.
