During the wedding reception he sang one of his favourite numbers ‘Suit’.
He then jetted out of the country a few hours later.
“This is the first time for me in Fiji, I love the place and the people,” Mr Coomaraswamy said.
“I am in Fiji just to attend a friend’s wedding no shows this time, but I will definitely be back for a show at the end of June.”
In 2016 he was the most viewed UK Asian artist on YouTube, with more than 250 million views.
He was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to a Sinhalese mother and Tamil father. Arjun’s father Indrajit Coomaraswamy is the present governor of Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
The 28-year-old attended the wedding ceremony of the newly-married couple Ashish Kalraiya a UK resident and Sonal Lodhia, the granddaughter of former politician late Hargovind Madhavji (HM) Lodhia of Nadi.
They will now reside in the United Kingdom.
Her dad, Nadi businessman Chandrakant Lodhia, said Arjun had a lot of meetings in the country during his visit and among them is the organisation of a stage show.
“We are working on plans to host a stage show in the country in two months,” he said.
Mr Lodhia will reveal the detailed plan in coming weeks.
