Vuira Spends Independence Day With Her Family

Fiji is a country rich with its unique culture and tradition and well known for its Bula Smile and Fijian bula spirit.

For 21-year-old, Vinaisi Vuira, she celebrates Fiji Day with her family today proud of these traits.

“Fiji Day is a really big day for all Fijians across Fiji and around the world,” she said.

Ms Vuira said Fiji day was not only the day we commemorate Fiji’s Independence from Great Britain, but it was a day that simply defines us as Fijians.

“This Fiji Day will be a remarkable one because we will be sharing it with families and friends,” Ms Vuira said.

“Let us continue to come together hand in hand in order to keep our Fiji enriched with culture and tradition because that’s the only way that truly defines who we are.”
