Fijians XVs And Wallaroos Test Match Date Set

The Fiji Rugby Union announced yesterday the Test match between the Vodafone Fijiana XVs and the Wallaroos at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium on July 6.

This exciting clash is one of the confirmed fixtures on the Fijiana’s busy 2024 calendar following its participation in the Super W.

Fiji Rugby High Performance Manager Women’s Alana Thomas expressed her anticipation for the match.

“The Vodafone Fijiana XV is looking forward to taking on the Wallaroos again this year.

We have seen the gap closing each year and we are looking to convert the success we have had with the Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua women into the Vodafone Fijiana.”

With 2024 marking a new beginning for the Fijiana team, Thomas highlighted the team’s aspirations for the future.

“This year is a new beginning for the Vodafone Fijiana team with a new coaching and management group who are excited to take the team forward as we aim for the Rugby World Cup 2025.”

Thomas said there’s a growing talent pool within the Fijiana squad.

“Players in Fiji and overseas will be putting their hands up to play in 2024 and we are excited to see the competition for positions and depth grow,” she added.
