Ratu Navula College under-14 player Aporosa Dakuitoga could not contain his tears as thoughts of his sister took over his emotions when his side defeated Queen Victoria School 22–17 in the Vodafone Deans final at the National Stadium last Saturday.

He is a student of Korovuto College and was a guest player for RNC.

“I was shocked to find her picture when I opened my locker, and I thank God for the win,” he said.

“We carried our loved ones with us on the field, and a few of my teammates also lost their parents.”
