“What we are trying to tell those spectators is if they stand to leave, then somebody will take their seat. So we are encouraging them not to go. At the same time, we are still accommodating those who have bought their tickets.”

Captain Etika Tawaketini said the team’s success was a result of faith, hard work, and determination.

Captain Paula Tiko thanked their supporters, parents and old scholars for their continuous supports.

“Looking at the Nasinu team, they came through in the playoffs after finishing third in the Southern Zone,” he said. 

Asssistant coach Taniela Vakamoce said they have a high respect for all teams in the competition.

Nasinu thrashed the Sugar City boys, 44-3, to book their spot in next week’s final.
