Racing 92 winger Selesitino Ravutaumada scored two tries in their 59-10 win over Montauban on Sunday.

The sounding victory has put the Paris-based club firmly back in contention for a playoff spot, where it will undoubtedly have to battle with Bordeaux, Clermont, Toulon, and La Rochelle.

It was a one sided match as they are back in contention for a play-off spot. Racing 92 scored nine tries to one. His fellow Fijian teammate, Wame Naituvi also scored a try.

Racing’s forwards and defense coach Olivier Azam told Le’Equipe that had one mission – to win with attack bonus points.

“We’re slowly getting back into position,” Azam said.

“We want to finish the final sprint as strongly as possible.”

Returning to the top of the standings gives us confidence,” added center Vladi Ashvetia.

“We’re going to take advantage of the next week without a match to prepare well for the following games. We’re going to try to maintain this position, because we play rugby to participate in the playoffs. We’ll have to stay focused and composed.”

In other Top 14 matches, Perpignan’s Peceli Yato scored a try in their close defeat, 29-31 to La Rochelle.
