Four years of struggle pay off for Arishma
Originally from Navua, Ms Ram graduated yesterday with a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries and dedicated her accomplishment to her grandparents and family who were present at the graduation.

Arishma Ram stands focused on her statement that hard work and perseverance will lead to great heights in life.
Originally from Navua, Ms Ram graduated yesterday with a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries and dedicated her accomplishment to her grandparents and family who were present at the graduation.
“It took me four years of studying and it has not been an easy road for me,” said the 27-year-old.

“One of the challenges I faced was the travelling distance from Navua to school every day.”
“Even though I had to go through some tough and struggling times, I kept reminding myself of my goals and to finish what I had started.”
Ms Ram thanked her family members for their continuous and undivided support, especially her Dad who she considers a big motivator in her life.
She is currently doing her attachment at the Ministry of Fisheries.
